Makcaris Cafè And Icecream Parlour

This place has the best customer service I've expected. Really friendly team that were so helpful and nice, they really went above and beyond. The food was also very nice and, large portions and great value for money. I will definitely come back

The service from the chef was outstanding! Our food came out and it wasn’t right so we sent it back. They were so apologetic but not only replaced with hot food but also with extras as an apology. This being for our 3 year old daughter’s birthday lunch we were very happy but also very surprised for the chef to come over and apology himself for the mistake but also then give us some desserts too! I have never been to a place where we haven’t had to argue when something wasn’t right but also for them to acknowledge and go out their way to make the service amazing! Thankyou makaris!

Attended the Makcaris in the bandstand today for a late lunch as recently moved back to the area. I wasn’t sure what to expect as I didn’t know much about the place but when they gave us our food we were speechless (in a good way) at the quality and presentation of the food. And it taste as good as it looked! The pricing for a coffee, Coke Zero, club sandwich and French toast was just under £30 which is quite steep - but for a treat and the quality it was I think the pricing is fair. The staff were also lovely and polite, will definitely be revisiting.

I had take away plaice and chips, the fish as they advertise is cooked fresh to order, batter perfectly crispy throughout and the fish add you would hope was fabulously fresh.. Chips were cooked nicely too.. Didn't comment on the atmosphere as I was in the take away area but staff were friendly..

Cosy cafe with a great atmosphere! The coffee here is very tasty, fragrant and rich. Pleasant interior, comfortable places to rest. There is a children's menu, which is especially pleasing for families with children. And the main thing is the stunning sea view, which makes every visit special. A perfect place for a morning coffee or a quiet evening by the water. Will definitely be back again!

Lovely cafe on the seafront at Herne Bay. Nice view from window seats. Coffee good, I had Americano, and partner had Latte. Free WiFi, comfortable seating, and a nice and clean restaurant area. We had breakfast here, I had the full English, and Partner had the fresh fruit pancakes. All cooked fresh and served nice and hot. There was nothing to complain about. This place is worth a visit if your passing.

Fish and chips were amazing. Not greasy and you got a plate full (this is a regular portion) Staff very friendly. Appears to be pricey but for the amount you get its value for money, do not come here unless you are hungry!
